I also tried unplugging all the USB devices on my computer and plug the controller Xbox 360 on USB port which are directly mounted on the mother exactly the same problem. I tired using different drivers the same problems, I was installed the drivers off Windows 7 support site exactly the same problem. When I press the button the controller guide, it just keeps blinking as if it must be syc (but it connect through a wire that shouldn't happen)
The rings on the Xbox 360 controller lights when I plug the controller in my pc (even though Device Manager detects a problem with) I tried to use it TI a game it does not at all. In respect of game controller does not appear even when you click advance to selected the device it does not always show upward.
